THE BABADOOK

Due that husband Oskar died mentoring her to the hospital to give birth, Amelia has raised her son Samuel alone. Samuel is interested in magic tricks, stories and he is obsessed by making homemade weapons to combat him to the imaginary monster.

Samuel asks his mother to read a mysterious story book that he found on his shelf, entitled Mister Babadook, the book tells the story of a supernatural monster that no one can get rid of once he discovers his existence. After hearing the story, Sam convinces that Babadook is the monster that lurks him, to him and his mother.

Amelia believes seeing Babadook harassing her neighbor, the old woman Roach. The more unexplained events and visions occur, Amelia gradually believes that Babadook is stalking her and her son of her and that he little by little is possessing her.

This movie shows a different way of making horror movies, the plot twist is not what we area costumed to, making the movie enjoyable and making us waiting for more. Plot solving is what stands out fro the movie. You are not waiting for that to happens.
